Summer may be winding down, but the events are still in full effect! This past week I was out in Virginia Beach at the East Coast Surfing Championships for 4 days of absolute madness. To help put this event into perspective, it’s comparable in size and foot traffic to the US Open of surf. The main difference being that all the brands are there and the surf comp side isn’t doesn’t draw the World Tour guys. Check out these photos below…

This is one of the few times per year kids are able to interact 1st hand with the brands they love…

Pro Skater and Globe team rider Mike Peterson was on hand to represent, sk8 the demo’s, and tear up the streets at night..!

Had a little fiesta with with our friends from Rip Curl and Dragon, which got kinda crazy at times… Still looking for my voice!

Oh yeah, there was some surfing too. We had regional pros Michael Powell, Ben Powell, and Ryan Briggs present. We also had Ams Nick Rupp, Shane Burn, and Sebastian Moreno there from the amateur side to shred. The guys all made the main event and were stoked to get the hurricane swell on Saturday and Sunday, which turned out to be the bet waves they’ve seen all year in VB!

No words….
