THERE WAS NO DOUBT THAT TAJ WAS SURFING BETTER THAN ANYONE ALL CONTEST AND WHILE THE DAY BEFORE HAD PRETTY DECENT WAVES, FINALS DAY WAS VERY AVERAGE!

KELLY AND TAJ DID BATTLE ON THE SLOTH WORTHY WAVES ROLLING AROUND SNAPPER ROCKS, WITH KELLY FINDING A RUNNER THROUGH THE INSIDE THAT SEALED THE DEAL.

TO THE VICTOR GOES THE SPOILS… CONGRATS TO KS

WHILE NOT WHAT ANY WORLD TOUR SURFER AIMS FOR, A 2ND PLACE STILL MEANS A LOT OF POINTS AND A GREAT RESULT TO HAVE LOCKED AWAY.  I THINK IT’LL ONLY MAKE GLOBE’S FOOTWEAR RIDER TEEBS HUNGRIER FOR THE WIN!!

NEXT STOP – BELLS BEACH, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA [APRIL 19-30]

CURRENT ASP WORLD TITLE RATINGS:

1 – KELLY SLATER

2 – TAJ BURROW

3 – JORDY SMITH / TIAGO PIRES

5 – ALEJO MUNIZ / BRETT SIMPSON / DUSTY PAYNE / MATT WILKINSON

24 – CJ & DAMIEN HOBGOOD
