Introducing new clear color-ways for the Bantam, as well as the latest solid colors. These may look like the boards of yesteryear, but they definitely are not. The Bantam is stiffer, the trucks are wider and the components last longer than anything in the market. These little beasts have been tests on the streets, backyard pools and any ramps we come across. GLOBE cruisers are the real deal. The Bantam is the ultimate plastic skateboard.

I decided to focus the collection on everything that got me hyped about skateboarding when I was young: thrash metal, punk rock, 80’s skate flicks, and beer. My hometown in rural Texas had zero skateshops and fewer skaters. Even scoring a copy of THRASHER was kinda hard. So while the rest of the world was tits-deep in the baggy pants/ little wheels thing, I was going off of animal chin, thrashin’, and gleaming the cube to get myself hyped to skate each day. I was trying to learn ho-hos by myself in the driveway in like ’93! Around the same time I discovered slayer and started drawing skulls, rats, eyeballs, and all manner of gnarly shit on my griptape. Beer came shortly after.

This group of product pays homage to all the unfortunate stuff that seeped into my tender young noggin’ and continues to influence my artwork today.

GLOBE team riders, Romain De Marchi, David Carrier Porcheron, and JP Solberg, who are all part owners and pro-riders for YES Snowboards, collaborated with GLOBE to develop a co-branded boot and cruiserboard for this season. Natural spawns from a relationship that brings YES to the streets and GLOBE to the mountains.

The GLOBE x THRASHER collab is a result of the history we share together. From events like Double Stack Cash Attack, Slaughter At The Opera, and The Skate Park Roundup, GLOBE and THRASHER have joined forces many times through the years. When approached with the choice of shoe to be the subject THRASHER chose two. The Heathen, Designed by David Gonzalez, and The Odin, Designed by Chris Haslam, both were born with the THRASHER oath in mind. Both shoes, in classic SF orange and black, come with the THRASHER oath bandana print on the footbed, and oath pin for added flair.
